The Bobtown Trio is the side project of Karen, Jen, and Katherine, in which we get together and discuss important topics such as our latest binge-TV habits, the joys and pitfalls of working strictly from home, and, of course, the changing business of making music. We also have a great time exploring how to strip back Bobtown's material to the core elements of lyrics and harmony.
We were most excited when WFUV's John Platt reached out to ask if we'd make an appearance at his revered monthly music showcase, "On Your Radar," at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC. The show runs from 7:00 - 9:00 and we'll be doing a 35-minute set along with the wonderful performers Ricky Stein and Sue Horowitz. (We'll be going on last, towards 8:00.)
